The "Visitation of the Gods" written by Gilda Cordero Fernando gives us information on how a visitation in public schools is conducted and the preparations they made. the short story is about reality of death of the Filipino idealism. Sad to say that the death of idealism and corruption starts in the schools. The teachers nowadays have loosen their standards of teaching. What they had shown are only the good things and hide the bad things and infirmities. It help us to be awaken in our mistakes.
